Project Details:

Title :- “Drilling Indexing mechanism for drilling machine ”

From our project, we have reduced the manual efforts and circumstances of marking and clamping required as well as the cost for drilling operation.

Parts Used: Worm & worm wheel, Bearings, Working table, Electric components and devices

Description:

In Convential indexing mechanism for drilling operation, the drill tool was been rotated which was complicate in construction. Since using of worm and worm wheel mechanism the job is being rotated instead of adjusting the drill for particular motion as required and hence simple in construction.

Achievement: With the help of this device we reduced approximately 10% of time required for drilling the hole.
