Perform various tests on SYNC, VFD converters, drives to assure compliance with engineering standards and requirements. Perform various tests on water-cooled AC drives to assure compliance with engineering standards and requirements. Check system for leaks by using pressure tests. Adjust cooling components in accordance with instructions. Perform tests on static VAR,SYNC and VFD control equipment. Test printed circuit boards prior to installation in SVC system to assure compliance with test specifications using digital meters, oscilloscopes, and frequency generator. Test assembled SVC system for proper operation.
Assures proper operation of SVC cooling station by testing for leaks.
