Safeguard the health of low-income women, infants, and children up to age 5 who are at nutrition risk by providing nutritious foods to supplement diets, information on healthy eating, and referrals to health care.
I work along with my preceptor to check the hemoglobin level of the clients to detect nutritional risk
I taught nutritional classes to educate pregnant and breastfeeding women on importance of immunization and vaccinations.
I taught women on how to prevent infectious diseases and encourage them to choose healthy diets.
I encouraged women to breastfeed and I shared benefits of breast feeding.

I advocated on behalf of Millions of women and children dying of preventable illnesses across the globe especially in the developing nations.
I shared statistics of these women and children to establish these facts with the United States Policy makers, in other to persuade them to continue to enact policies that will advance the structure in place to promote health equity among women and children.
