Plant Manager, Cott Beverages Inc. February 2010 to October 2016

I managed the concentrate manufacturing plant for Cott in Columbus GA. We manufactured all of the cola concentrates for the 26 domestic Cott manufacturing plants and the 6 international plants along with Royal Crown Cola International which is a subsidiary of Cot, Inc. I had a staff of 6 and was responsible for 75 to 120 associates. I made sure we maintained our SQF Level 3 certification, compile forecast data submitted by our Supply Chain group and create production schedules to ensure customer needs are met and inventory turns remain high. Prior to Columbus I was the interim manager for Cott's highest volume facility in Concordville, PA. I was able to stabilize the processes and personnel while the company searched for a permanent plant manager. During this time I was also managing the facility in Blairsville, GA. In both locations I ensured all training was completed by all of the staff in a timely basis. I implemented process improvements which increased productivity and lowered costs. I oversaw all capital projects at both locations. My primary facility, Blairsville, GA was the best performing, best quality and lowest cost producer in the company for the 6 years I was there. I progressed with Cott from Plant Controller to Warehouse Manager to my most recent role as Plant Manager which I held for the last 6 years. I have had my Six Sigma Black Belt since June 2009. Completed the FSMA FSPCA Certification and got my Preventative Control Qualified Individual Certification in August 2016.

Warehouse Manager, Cott Beverages, March 2008 to February 2010

Overseen all aspects of supply chain and logistics. Managed 2 locations for distribution of finished goods to multiple customers. Communicated with customers to optimize freight and minimize shipping costs. Completed load pattern optimization projects to maximize legal weights in trailers and guarantee damage-free shipments. Worked with other projects on a corporate level at other Cott locations. Managed a staff of 13 annually and 16 seasonally. Promoted to plant manager in March 2010.

Plant Controller, Cott Beverages, January 2005 to March 2008

I was responsible for reporting financial performance of the plant and warehouse operations. Completed the annual budget, weekly financial reporting to Corporate finance and the month-end journal entries. Completed financial forecasts for the plant to optimize labor and material requirements based on performance and forecasted demand. Overseen all fixed assets and the finances for all capital projects. I completed quarterly inventory audits for 7 contract bottlers. I reported to the Director of Finance.

Cost Accountant, Snap-On Tools, July 2002 to December 2004

I worked with manufacturing facility to determine costs, productivity, and efficiency for all direct labor employees. Developed and submitted month-end financial reports to our corporate headquarters. I predetermined cost of tools in research and development to determine if they will be profitable. Work closely with all departments in the facility to determine operating costs and suggest ways to be more efficient. Large majority of time was spent collecting and analyzing data for sales forecasts, projected earnings, and cost saving initiatives. I was finance liaison on all plant project teams. I maintained and oversaw all PP&E allocations, transfers and disposals.
