Projects
CFD Analysis on the two-dimensional External Gear Pump 06/2016-12/2016
The principle aim of the project is to analyze the two-dimensional flow analysis of this external gear pump
The design of gear pump and analysis to basic minimum requirement have been carried out in this project using Solid works and Ansys fluent tools for the flow pattern analysis.
The investigation produced significant information on flow patterns, velocity and pressure fields and the fluid gap size can affect the velocity profile and pump capacity.
Transient Thermal Analysis of Aluminum Alloy Piston head using Ansys 01/2016-05/2016
To find the thermal distribution of different piston materials of Aluminum Alloys
The piston head is first designed in solid works and then imported into ansys software
It is observed from the results that Al-Si-C has very less heat flux when compared to Al-Si, Al Mg-Si Alloys.
Design and Analysis of different cross section of Ladder Chassis 08/2015-12/2015
The C, I and rectangular box section of ladder chassis are designed in Catia V5
The Static Structural analysis is done in Ansys
Results show that the rectangular cross section has more strength and less deflection.
Tensile and Impact behavior of glass and fiber reinforced composites 02/2015-5/2015
Objective of this project is to assess properties such as tensile strength and impact strength of fiber reinforced composites
They are prepared by varying the weight ratios and volumes of the reinforcement materials with the matrix material.
