Dear Director,

I am a self- starter, very detail oriented, extremely organized and highly professional. I can work by myself or with a team.

At my previous position, where I was employed for over 10 years as a Quality Assurance Manager. Food safety and food security were my main responsibility. I created all the food safety and food security programs and training materials as well. It was also my responsibility to enforce those rules and regulations. I had to ensure that all my programs, training materials and the employees were current with the ever changing rules and regulations of the FDA and other third party auditors. It was also my responsibility to make sure we passed the FDA and any other third party audits by keeping up with my own schooling and training with current FDA practices.

I created all of our monitoring and micro testing programs and log sheets on digital as well as hard copies. I also conducted the testing and monitoring in our plant on a daily basis while being available for any customer complaints or vendor issues, where it was my responsibility to speak directly to customers or vendors on the phone or in person. I wrote many apology letters and emails that I copied and filed away. If there was such an issue, I had to be able to lot trace the non-conforming piece, find out where the issue started, make sure it was taken off the line, the correct paperwork was logged and make sure a corrective action was taken. I learned to multi-task very well performing this job over the years since I was always being called out on the line to handle an issue and was usually already doing 2 or 3 things before that. I am also very organized as well and since we were always on a deadline for one thing or another. I learned very quickly to perform my duties in a timely manner.

I managed the maintenance dept directly and was responsible to co-manage 99 employees and over 1500 products and 18 product lines. I was also responsible to purchase items needed to keep the plant productive except for maintenance equipment.

Throughout the many years of working in several office positions, I have gained a multitude of administrative assistant, customer service experience, accounts receivable/payable, billing, receiving clerk and scheduling skills. It also gave me a chance to fine tune my communication skills and also enhanced my interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills.

I have the ability to learn new skills or a new program, if needed very quickly.
