Responsibilities
Supervise, coordinate, or schedule the activities of pipe fitters, pipe welders, and helpers during the process of installation of pipe supports, process piping, and hydro testing on production platforms
Worked directly with task budgets weekly, comparing progress to hours used to create a productivity factor, utilization of this process provided s-curves to submit to project management.
Assign work to employees, based on material or worker requirements/skills of specific jobs.
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety.
Record information such as personnel, production, or operational data on specified forms or reports
Provide assistance to workers engaged in construction or hydro-testing activities, using hand/power tools or other equipment.
Analyze worker or production problems and recommend solutions, such as improving production methods or implementing motivational plans.
Coordinating work activities with all other construction crafts and subcontractors
Training workers in efficient piping/ hydro testing methods, operation of Industrial equipment, safety procedures, and company policies
