Title : User Management Tool and InForm-Argus integration

Synopsis

The InForm User Management Tool is a web application product used to perform InForm user and site management tasks without requiring you to take an InForm or IRT or OLX study offline.

User Management Interface software can be used to define InForm study users, sites, authentication, and access privileges. The software supports the following functionality in the InForm application:

The project has a service, Voyager service is a SOAP-based web service API installed on the InForm application server that provides services for the trials on that server. The API leverages InForm business logic and database tables to perform all operations with the help of Inform Provisioning Agent and User Management Interface.

The existing application fully supports InForm product and works only for 32-bit application server and the goal is to make the same application for IRT, OLX Products and Support for 64-bit application server for all the three products.

InForm is proved as the best Electronic Data Capture software in the pharmaceutical industry, which enables the sponsors and site users to enter the clinical trial information very efficiently on the other hand Argus is one of the best Safety

The main aim of this project is to generate the safety related information of a clinical study in to the desired E2B structure and ODM format and provide the output file to Argus Product.

The InForm-Argus interface shall comprise a number of components to enable SAE-related data entered into the InForm EDC system to be transmitted to the Argus safety system. This amounts to capturing data into one system, InForm and sending to another system, Argus with a means to monitor its status.

The provision of an automated transfer of cases between InForm and Argus is part of a wider effort to improve the capture and handling of ICSRs which originate from clinical trials which use the InForm eDC system within Novo Nordisk.

The application is developed by using InForm Publisher, which is a configurable plug in over InForm which invokes the specified service based on the configured data points of InForm.

Here, InForm Publisher invokes the Argus respective AIA Listener of InForm Server Box based on the configured interval. Once the AIA Listener is invoked it generates the desired EBM file in InForm Server which will be moved to web logic web server and thus the EBM file will be imported to Argus.

Hence, the items updated in InForm application will be seen in the Argus after a reasonable time interval.

Each and every data item and test scenario is automated using medML and PFImport with the help of OATS – Open Script software.
