Work history

May 2015 – November 2016: Process Commissioning and start-up engineer / SONATRACH with SNC LAVALIN in RHOURE NOUSS ALGERIA

New gas treatment plant,capacity 10 MMSM3/day, including: slug catcher; gas booster compressors (driven by SIEMENS SGT 400 turbines with Heat recovery system ); CO2 removal unit using MDEA and DEA; Dehydration unit (molecular sieve beds); dew point unit Turbo expander (Magnetic bearing);sale gas compressors (driven by SIEMENS SGT100 turbines), utilities (instrument air, Nitrogen, hot oil system, desalination and reverse osmosis unit, water treatment, fuel gas and flare system );CO2 re-injection compressor(MITSUBISHI) with 5 stages; Glycol dehydration unite ;fiscal metering

Accountabilities: Manage the process pre-commissioning, commissioning, start-up. Ensure a high standard of safety is achieved and Environmental and Quality Assurance procedures are followed and perform the following activities:

Participate in the development of project commissioning start-up sequences and schedules

Provide input to periodic project reports

Identification of systems and sub-systems by marking up of PFD’s and PID’s – system definition.

Assist construction departments by defining of priority systems according with overall construction and pre-commissioning & commissioning planning and schedule. Participate in constructability analyse in order to meet project schedule.

Commissioning & Start-up prioritization.

Checking for readiness of mechanical completion dossiers of systems, accordingly with QA&OC system, in collaboration with others departments.

Review of the final issue of PID’s from point of view of commissioning and start-up, issuing of PID’s modification according with project standards and regulations,

Update of P&ID’s with as built’s and submission to engineering department

Preparation of plan and procedure for pre-commissioning, commissioning and star-up activities.

Development of pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures (air blowing, leak test, chemical cleaning, water flushing philosophies, E&I test and functional test, refractory drying, catalyst and adsorbents loading, steam blowing, etc.)

Preparation of commissioning and operational test procedures for packages unit, specific utility or process systems in collaboration with licensors, vendors and engineering department.

Development of detailed commissioning procedures for gas turbine solo run, DCS loop checking, DCS, ESD and PLC logic test, test forms and Ready for Start-up for systems. In collaboration with others departments and vendor’s representatives

Crude oil production plant: separation of oil, water and gas coming from the 33 wells. Capacity: 1058 Sm3/d of crude oil / 8.7 MMSCMD of gas.

The plant is composed of : Manifolds, Oil/Gas Separators / Crude oil desalter, Stabilizer/ Storage/Pumping station/low and medium pressure Compressors/ Chemical Injection System/ Produced water treatment/ Fuel gas/ Raw water / Service Water/ Open drain system/ Closed drain system/ Nitrogen and instrument air/ Lube oil treatment/ Fire water system

Accountabilities:

Oversee Pre-commissioning activities, mechanical/rotating and process systems

Attending site coordination meeting on regular basis (weekly) for reviewing site Progress & resolving problems.

Responsible for guidance and verification inspection of the entire Pre-Commissioning scope.

Manage the completion of the punch list by system.

Monitors the progress of all Pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Provides updates to lead planner.

Provide feedback as well solutions to the Construction and Commissioning Team.

Manage the gas production plant and coordinate with the well and maintenance departments the following tasks

Preparation of monthly and annual production plan based on availability of production wells and treatment facilities.

Plan and manage operations on surface facilities (wellheads, manifold and trunk line) according to production plan.

Schedule tests and routine inspection of the surface installations (telemetry test, PSV tamping, etc.) according to production plan.

Coordinate and program the intervention on the collect and their connection to the treatment facilities.

Initiate modifications in trunk line, manifold, treatment facilities in order to enhance production.

Opening and closing of wells according to the well test data.

Preparation of routine work and major shut down for equipments inspection and repair.

Monitors facility for major problems and shuts down if necessary.

Manages the facilities’ capacity in safe and efficient manner.

Ensure that all Facilities Emergency Response planning is in place and fit for purpose in conjunction with the Production Supervisor and HSE Department provide first line process engineering support to the plant operations.

brownfield project of an LPG plant which is composed of:03 units with a capacity of ( 48 MSt.m /day of gas), each unit include de-ethanizer and debutanizer columns, turbo expander, heat exchanger, drums, hot oil heater, storage station with 03 sphere, and utilities ( air instrument, nitrogen, water treatment ..etc). The project was initiated after an incident in the unit (fire in the manhole flange of the reflex drum of debutanizer). It consists of revamping all damaged equipment and systems.
