Small Business Management - Waffle Bus Stop
Worked in conjunction with the owners of the Waffle Bus Stop to develop a targeted marketing strategy for their small business. Using a customer survey identified potential markets and relevant forms of advertising and promotions to help increase sales. Coordinated and conducted two promotional events to help increase brand awareness.
Marketing Communications - McDonalds
As part of a team worked with two McDonalds Canada head office representatives on a consultation project to develop a marketing plan and communications strategy to change negative perceptions in the minds of consumers. The final results were presented to the class and the two McDonalds employees.
Leadership - Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation
Developed leadership and community service skills working in collaboration with St. FX Athletics to organize and host two promotional events in aid of the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation raising over $1000. Developed and conducted event marketing campaign including social media, direct marketing, and local radio.
Digital Marketing - term project –St FX
Developed a digital marketing strategy that St.FX could be used to improve awareness and perception among prospective students. Created a cost effective action plan with a 2-year ROI; including a social strategy and technology recommendations. Presented final proposal to class and St.FX Director of Communications & Marketing
