The Knowledge Management Repository (KMR) is a database repository application

available to all IRS employees on the IRS intranet. KMR is envisioned as a collaborative tool

to support systems development strategies to manage knowledge and advance organizational maturity, with capabilities and functions developed to support multiple stakeholder organizations and workstreams. The main objective of KMR is to provide a common platform and repository to record legislative and non-legislative (initiative) records from the details of the regulation to the work request implementation details, including specifics on related projects-releases and impacted systems. KMR’s second objective is to provide a common source for IRS best practices, lessons learned and organizational guidance. This web based application is developed using Spring Framework and JSF,Richfaces,Primafaces as a front end. Oracle 11g has been used as a backend database.

Responsibilities:

Developed the application UI Prototypes for front- end Screens.

Developed User Flow Diagrams.

Created Business Rules requirements document by interacting with the Business users.

This java based web application (Demo Prototype) has been developed to show a local Courier Services Company, how it can help them simplifying there work and gives accessibility to the individual Agents to view and update the status of the packages delievered. Email notification functionality has been added at various levels to notify the agents. As of now the data has been stored in the excel files. This application also generates reports based on different zones and specific locations. This application has been developed in Struts 2 Framework. On acceptance as an added enhancements this application will be developed as a Mobile App in phase II and more functionality will be added.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed the requirements and wrote Technical Design document for CMS Module.

Designed and developed the presentation layer which includes the development of standards-browser compliant – user interactive web pages using CSS, Struts (MVC) tag and JSTL tag libraries with Client side validation and unit testing.

Partners electing to use this eDelivery method are sent electronic notices (i.e. e-mails) at appropriate schedule containing a direct link to the documents. Upon clicking on the link, partners are prompted to login to the vendor website and taken directly to the document that has been designated for eDelivery.

Retail Giant SUPERVALU does POS (Point Of Sale) for its child partners because of child partners not having proper Infrastructure and resources. Stores (Suppliers) send the sales data to SSI via Portal (SV Harbor) where SSI reads the sales data and process the same and after processing the data are available for download to Stores (suppliers). All that uploading and downloading of files is done via interfaces which we need to develop and comes under Category of Uploads and downloads for stores reference. These interfaces needs to be integrated with existing system. All Interfaces developed using BEA Weblogic Integration.

Deutsche has an in-house Intranet Portal where there is a need to develop few applications where users can come and achieve desired results. Applications Developed follows.

The Global Data Hub (GDH) is a global repository of data from various sources, like portfolio accounting systems, security reference data, client databases and custodial/fund accounting service providers, within Deutsche Asset Management (DeAM). Web applications will use Global Data Hub to allow analysis and querying of sensitive business data. The web application using the global data hub needs enterprise wise security approach to allow implementation of security (Global Web Security) at individual application and user group level.

Adhoc Query is a reporting tool based on database metadata that provides access to GDH data repository so that users can create adhoc reports. It helps users to build and share Ad-Hoc reports. Another enhancement came to add an access for BO Reports So, that user can perform same tasks on that too.

GDM(Generic Data Maintenance) is a metadata based generic application for maintaining any table in any schema. User can perform all SQL actions based on the access given to them. Privileges have been maintained for different set of users.

The Hedge Funds Finance Tool is a web based application which will act as a static data maintenance tool. Using this tool user will be able to Create/populate data required for generating reports that will display overall hedge fund business related projections across different time periods.
