Generated 3-D model of multiple space station modules, assemble module into top level station assembly using CATIA software. Perform Finite Element Analysis to check the interferences between module and shuttle payload bay. Generated interference report to discuss with stress engineering.

Mechanical Design Engineer, Johnson Space Center, NASA (Contract): 2000-2002

Worked as a contractor on a mockup of international space station (Destiny Module Lab) design to reverse engineer using Boeing actual drawing.

$485K was saved utilizing reverse engineer technique and utilizing off the shelf commercial hardware instead of space certified hardware because of Astronaut trainer does not need to be space quality. Astronaut flown seal was awarded upon the completion of reverse engineering project

Designed and supported the manufacturing of X-38 space vehicle ground support equipment to transport x-38 to and from design building to test lab. Design the complete GSE with the team of three design engineers, created all fabrication drawings, manufacturing documents. Support the fabrication shop during the GSE build, source out off-the-shelf part for GSE.
