Chemical Department, Jr. Chemical Engineer (Production) at AB Technology (M) Sdn Bhd

March 2015 – Present

Monitor and handle the production and coating process eg.: ensure and analyze the chemical used meet the requirement before coating process.

Monitor and ensure the quality of every part before and after coating process for customer satisfaction.

Coordinate with every department and management on any quality issue and awareness highlighted by customers.

Monitor and ensure the output and quality of each part meet the requirement.

Monitor and control the Salt Spray Test machine for the selected parts (Magnesium and Aluminium) after production (by referring to ASTM B117-97 and JIS Z 2371:2000).

Involve in Environmental Hazardous Substances (EHS; ISO 140001) like RoHS and REACH and IS0 9001 eg.: ensure the parts are run under control and meet the requirement for the RoHS and REACH; prepare the selected sample to send to 3rd party laboratory for analyzed; provide relevant documents in terms of EHS as requested by customer.

Monitor the laboratory activities eg.; prepare the standard solutions, indicators for titration and chemical used for the coating.

Monitor the water treatment plant eg.: record the maintenance and readings of the treated water; prepare the water sample to send to 3rd party laboratory as required by the Department of Environment (DOE). Coordinate with DOE with any related issue on environment.

Involve and handle monthly training for the department eg.: train the operator for chemical checking and line running and controlling.

Coordinate with various departments to maintain efficient work processes.

Monitor and ensure the department maintain in 5S.
