Hostway Corporation-Managed, Cloud and Web Hosting-San Antonio
May 2016-December 2016
Project Administrator-Specializing in Onboarding and IT Projects
Rookie of the Quarter-November 2016
During my tenure at Hostway I worked in the Project Management Organization and stood side by side with sales and operations helping onboard customers into web hosting-this was a great introduction into a fast-paced world of project management and the emphasis placed on organizing and developing a relationship with a product and customer deliverables. Working with 6 data centers around the US, Bulgaria and Canada to ensure real time tasks were completed to meet deadlines-understanding that building and pushing a brand is a nonstop process that is worked on in different time zones.
Created a successful, established relationship with the customer from start to finish of their product-offering positive support and communicating any changes in scope or timeline in a challenging environment
Ad Spirit (75 servers) customer feedback which resulted in an open discussion for new configurations being implemented at the start of the project-resulting in a satisfied, early completion with less time and money spent during the build phase for our data centers
Developed methods, procedures, and quality objectives including metrics for assessing progress; utilizes established project standards, procedures, and quality objectives
University of Oklahoma retrospective which executed a new process for our Managed Magento product-producing a shorter timeline and change in build times for all projects
Followed Project Management Life Cycle methodology utilizing standard templates and deliverable documents
Recognized that a new order form with changes for on boarding/sales was needed to clarify the requirements for the product for a more clear, visual; data centers utilized this new method when in the building process and used the new order form as a go-to for customer’s order information
Worked with product owners to streamline Technical Requirements, Scope and Summary Documents
Conducted project kickoff meetings; communicate individual roles and project expectations; ensure all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively
Total of 146 projects completed 2347 Planning hours
Monitored project milestones and critical dates to identify potential risk to project schedule; identify ways to resolve schedule issues; keeping management current with dashboards and reports gathered from metrics documented in Workfront-our company software of choice.

Assistant to COO-Director of Production/Production Coordinator/Proofing/Sales
Assisted the Director in coordinating and scheduling tight timelines to ensure deadlines were met for publications. Worked in Production to push these dates-guaranteering the launch date and leading production focus on issues management, project schedules, status reports, product definition report development, risk management, and production change requests.
Designed a process for auditing-proofreading a high-level number of incoming contracts from sales departments (primarily phone directories/guides). During this design, there was also a question of coding and a more employee-friendly way to paginate. I created a system that designated the sizes and colors on the order form that was used as a code for billing and pagination. This helped cut employee time and costs and ensured the flow of information coordinated with the ideal, final look not only for the customer’s product but, a high impact for the company.
Recruited, hired and trained production team-putting together a strong lineup for data entry, coordinating, organizing and proofing the graphics used for ads.
Established client relationships in a challenging climate-sustaining a solid work relationship. The ability to team with these clients was paramount for the company’s success.
