Role: Software Engineer Mar 2016 – Present

Developed and tested a tool to migrate all the older version Visual Studio projects to newer version of Visual Studio 2015 and also changed the default compiler for all the older projects to the latest compiler V120 so that build times can be improved.

Worked on fixing Coverity issues so that the quality of the code can be improved.

Developed a Logging and Tracing framework for one of the components so that ETW (Event Tracing for Windows) can be used for tracing and Windows Event Log can be used for Logging instead of having multiple log and trace files for each component which leads to increase in time in finding the root cause of crashes in the system.

Working on an application called Fusion that merges the static images of CT or MRI scan with Live Ultrasound Imaging so that Cancerous cells can be treated surgically.

The Project management methodology being used in the team is SCRUM.

Developed a job portal for Virtusa Consulting Services.

Led a team of four to design and develop the Registration Module, which can be used by the JobSeekers to register, apply and check status online.

Designed and developed an ASP.NET web application, to emulate a Twitter System and then deployed it on Microsoft Azure cloud.

Also designed and developed an Android application to access this Twitter system.

Designed and developed a web portal for retail mobile store.

The portal could be used to log complaints about the phones; store owners could assign the repair jobs to various engineers; and engineers could view/update the status of the tasks assigned to them.

Through the portal, Customers/Store owners/Engineers could see own customized views of the task status relevant to their logins.
