Innovene, which sold in 2005 for $9 billion to Swiss-based INEOS, was a petrochemical manufacturer of olefins
and related products, which included ethylene, polypropylene, butadiene, benzene, and styrene. Acrylonitrile,
acetonitrile and ammonia products were also manufactured.
Responsible for the safety and industrial hygiene for a plant of 350+ employees and 120+ contractors. Became the
OHSA VPP STAR champion and directed the corporate review team for new material safety data sheets and
toxicological studies. A member of the BP Corporate Emergency Response Team.

Brush Wellman Inc., now Materion Brush, is the global leader in high performance beryllium, beryllium alloys and
beryllia ceramic.
Responsible for Safety and Industrial Hygiene at a beryllium production facility with 500 employees and 120 contractors. Led a team which reduced the Chronic Beryllium Disease Sensitivity Rate from 50% to 0% for over 500 employees
