Title: Director of Field Engineering

Energy storage, demand response, utility metering, and portfolio remote monitoring project work. Identify energy curtailment savings for entrance into sync and economic incentive programs. Develop communication scenarios to enable remote communication to customer equipment through BMS for participation in sync and economic utility incentive programs. Key projects include 1MW LI Battery and VFD integration utilizing kinetic and stored energy in Sync Reserve market applications. Responsibilities included observing systems installation of HVAC equipment, including the start up and operation. Direct accountability for all Building Automation Systems (Johnson Controls Metasys), and training of existing engineers. Equipment scheduling and trending, as needed by client and architects involved with the renovation. Worked with contractors and BAS technicians to resolve operational and design problems.
