Rail Control Solutions: Full P&L responsibility for the delivery of Onboard Safety, Hardware, Software and Operational solution for the San Francisco Bay Area Transit (BART) for 1,081 Trains and other SF projects. Oversee all aspects of the program from setting deadlines, developing detailed strategic plans, assign responsibilities, budgets & forecast and moving projects through an aggressive staged development pipeline.

Increased margin on BART project by 4.6% within 5 months of execution by finding efficiencies and enhanced project controls.

Drive over 12% savings through Lean initiatives on the San Francisco AirTrain Systems Expansion.

International Program/Product Manager

Global Locomotive Operations: P&L responsibility of +$350M to develop, manufacture and deliver heavy haul freight locomotives to global customers meeting customer metrics and maintaining corporate financial objectives. In addition, lead Program management process Improvement, Cost-out & Up-Sell Initiatives.

Lead, the design and building of GE’s first-ever Heavy haul locomotive to gain market entry into Europe and Turkey. This was a prestigious high-visibility project, on a tight one-year development cycle to develop the PowerHaul 3700GHP “Green” certified locomotive. This required designing of over 18,000 new parts with large dedicated development teams spread between US and Europe.

Responsible for overseeing overall engineering, fabrication prototyping, production schedule, NPI, Supply chain, Capital Spares, Service and Homologation for the Euro Power Haul series Locomotive.

Led corporate wide workshops to improve the GE’s Gate Review Tollgate process over 3 months.

Upsold & executed Locomotive Service Training for Egypt & Libya to improve training profit by 41.8%

Designed detailed processes to drive financial rigor and cost-out internal operating plans by 32.3%.

Developed processes to tie Supply-Chain & Engineering Drawing release databases with over 300,000 components to improve drawing release cycle, on-time delivery and reduce supplier lead times.
