Work Experiences
Japan Gas Company (JGC). Inamenas Compression Project. Inamenas, Algeria.
Client: BP /Sonatrach/Statoil
Instrument Supervisor. May,2015 – November,2016.
Project Overview:
This is an existing and operating Gas Plant, however due to the decreasing source pressure of the Inlet Gas they cannot able to maximize the product output. Hence, they need to boost up the inlet pressure to optimum level to get the designed output of the plant. Thus, the IACP Gas Compressors and 2 Slug Catchers been added to boost the inlet pressure to be fed to the 3 existing trains. In addition, 1 LER and 1 LGC LCR been installed. The LER (Local Equipment Room) will accommodate all the new DCS, ESD, FGS signals and will be linked to the existing Main Central Control Room via Fiber Optics and the IGC LCR will accommodate all the signals directly controlling the new 2 Gas Turbine Compressors.
Works and responsibilities:
oCoordination with Sub-contractor Field Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen for all construction related issues (such as Construction Drawings, materials, target schedules etc.).
oChecking all actual installation as per the Issued Drawings; Marking-up drawings
oMonitored and supervised all Construction Works.
oDirectly reporting to Instrument Construction Manager.
oAttend all meetings related to Instrument Construction.
oAdvise and dispatch subcontractor supervisors and workers to all areas most priority as per project schedule.
oDirectly supervising all the GENP related to “Loosed Materials” installations for the 2 GENP Gas Turbine Compressors.
oPrepare and apply all PTWs (Permit-To-Work) in behalf of sub-contractor for all instrument works inside the lived- plant area.
Japan Gas Company (JGC). Bir Seba Field Development Project. Bir Seba, Algeria.
Client: PVEP /Sonatrach/PTTEP, Groupement Bir Seba
Instrument Supervisor. October,2014 – April,2015.
Project Overview:
This is Gas Oil Separation Plant, the pumped oil/gas mixture from the desert wells will be collected thru the manifolds and the transferred via pipelines lines. The CPF (Central Processing Facility) is the GOS Plant itself which consists of various areas, stages and equipment in order to separate the oil and the gas. The main products, oil will be stored in the CPF Tank Farm temporarily and the gas will be compressed and send to Hassi Messauoud main gas lines. The Power Generation Area is consisted of 2 Gas Turbine Generators which delivers the Main Power Supply to the facility.
Works and responsibilities:
oCoordination with Sub-contractor Field Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen for all construction related issues (such as Construction Drawings, materials, target schedules etc.).
oChecking all actual installation as per the Issued Drawings; Marking-up drawings
oMonitored and supervised all Construction Works.
oDirectly reporting to Instrument Construction Manager.
oAttend all meetings related to Instrument Construction.
oAdvised and dispatched subcontractor supervisors and workers to all areas most priority as per project schedule.
Chiyoda Corporation. PNG_LNG EPC3 Project. Papa Lea-lea, Papua New Guinea. Instrument Supervisor. June.2012 – Mar.2014.
Project Overview:
This is a Central Processing Plant, wherein the gas from the Highlands (source) which will be received by the CPF thru the Slug Catcher and Metering Station, then it will be passed to the AGR Unit, then to the Gas Dryer, then to the Demethanizer, then to the Cryogenic Column, then to Turbo-Expander, then to the LNG Tank. This Cryogenic column will transformed the gas into liquid form and then it will be lowered its pressure thru Turbo-Expander (the pressure drop from 56 Bara to 7 Bara). This Turbo-Expander will be used as a Power Generator to generate electric power and will be tie-in to the Main Electric Powers which are generated by the Electric Generators (at Utilities).
Main equipment been installed are, 2 Propane Gas Compressors, 2 units Mixed-Gas Refrigerant Compressors, 6 units Gas Dryers, 2 Cryogenic Exchangers, 2 units Oil Heating Furnaces.
At the output of the Inlet Metering Station, small portion of the inlet gas will be diverted to De-methanizer(extracted Methane Gas will be used as the main fuel gas for the furnaces and gas turbines), De-ethanizer, De-butanizer, De-propanizer (extracted Propane gases will be stored at the Propane Tank and will be used as a refrigerant for CPF) and the remaining heavy condensates will be send to Condensate Tank as a by-product.
Main products are LNG and Condensate, and will be sent to Jetty for Gas Loading.
Works and responsibilities:
oCoordination with Sub-contractor Field Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen for all construction related issues (such as Construction Drawings, materials, target schedules etc.).
oChecking all actual installation as per the Issued Drawings; Marking-up drawings
oExpedite all QC Inspections and WinPCS outstanding reports.
oMonitoring Construction Progress and input to Instrument Construction Monitoring Sheet.
oDirectly reporting to Instrument Construction Lead Supervisor.
Chiyoda Corporation. Pearl Qatar Shell GTL Project. Ras Laffan, State of Qatar. Instrument Engineer. Feb.2010 – November 2011.
Project Overview:
This is a Gas-To-Liquid Plant which consisted of several stages of the processing lines. The scope of the CHC (Chiyoda Hyundai Consortium) is the FGP (Feed Gas Preparation) which will receive the raw gas from the source thru the Slug Catcher, then to the AGR (Acid Gas Removal), then to DMR, then to Gas Dryers, then to the De-methanizer, then to De-ethanizer, De-propanizer and the De-butanizer. The extracted Propane and Butane will be mixed to obtain new product LPG. The remaining heavy condensates will be pumped to another area to be processed as the GTL and other Hydrocarbon Derivatives.
The acidic gas been extracted at the AGR will be sent to SRU (Sulfur Recovery Unit) to extract the sulfur contents and the remaining gas will be burned to Incinerators.
Works and responsibilities:
oCoordination with Sub-contractor Field Engineers, Supervisors and Foremen for all construction related issues (such as Construction Drawings, materials, Target Schedules etc.); Checking all actual installation as per the Issued Drawings; Marking-up drawings.
Chiyoda Corporation. Ras Gas Onshore Expansion Projects (AKG-2/RGX6&7). Ras Laffan, State of Qatar. Instrument Supervisor. January 2008 –January 2010.
Project Overview:
This is an existing Gas Plant which having products of Methane, Ethane, Propane, Butane and Condensates. The project is the expansion of the plant to increase the total plant output.
The raw gas from the Slug Catcher will be fed to the different stages of Hydrocarbon extractions. First to the AGR (Acid gas Removal), then to the Gas Dryers, then to De-methanizer, then to De-ethanizer, then to De-propanizer, then to De-Butanizer, then to De-pentanizer. The remaining heavy condensates will be pumped to the Condensate Tanks.
The Gas Dryers were provided with Regeneration Gas Heating Furnace which will take portion of the Dry Gas and passed thru the Heating Furnace for Regeneration purposes.
The acidic gas from the AGR will be sent to SRU (Sulfur Recovery Unit) and the Sulfur extracted cleaned remaining gas will be burned to Incinerator.
The spent gas during the Regeneration cycles will be processed and sent back to the inlet line by increasing the pressure thru RGC (Recycle Gas Compressor).
Works and responsibilities:
oMonitoring construction progress.
o Updating Construction Progress Monitoring Sheets.
oAssess, evaluate and analyze any Construction issues and report to Lead Supervisor and recommend for any possible solution.
o Red Mark-up any all Construction Drawing discrepancies.
o Check construction materials availability and report to Lead Supervisor for any material shortages, missing or damaged.
