ACADEMIC PROJECTS

• Conducted an individual research project on the rise of supermarkets and their implications on the small kirana store owners specifically in the suburban area of Mumbai.

• Analysed two European airlines Ryan Air and Easy jet comparing their weaknesses, strengths, business models and strategies and submitted a report on the same.

• Conducted a study based on a case study from Harvard business school on The Kohler Co. and its recapitaliza- tion of shares which led to a trial between the company and its shareholders.

• Prepared a portfolio of stocks from the S&P 500 index and compared the performance of these companies over a period of 10 years by developing views about these stocks leading to a better return than the benchmark mar- ket portfolio.

• Research dissertation on SEO announcements and their effects on the stock prices of companies issuing them, for a time period 2006 to 2016 and the reasons behind these effects following suit of already existing research. Conducted the study using software which include Microsoft Excel, DataStream database, Thomson One bank- er, Bloomberg and Thomson Reuters terminus.
