Business Process & Business Transformation Sr. Consultant – Eversource Utility • 2016 New England's largest energy provider, proudly serving more than 3.6 million electric and natural gas customers in CT, MA & NH Independent Corp-Corp Contractor in a Business Process and Technology Transformation Sr. Consultant Role. The project started with a Discovery Phase, then a Business Process Re-Engineering Phase, followed by an Implementation Phase. The project implementation resulted in a major set of changes to the way the Distribution Operations BU conducts business, executes Capital and Expense work, and places focus on the electric services utility customer. Summarized and contained in a fully documented Playbook is four (4) new workflows. Guidance was given on the future direction on the IT systems and services to fully engage current IT internal and external IT Software to optimize the IT spending of 4 independent companies. A future roadmap has been designed to provide a model to integrate the independent operating companies into a single solution Future State. Several current internally developed IT systems will be consolidated into a single outsourced Cloud Service.

From an IT perspective, the IT system at the core of the four workflows was the Work Management System

(they have two: STORMS and PASSPORT) for tracking open requirements on Work Orders and the work- process chain of custody. Additionally, the project encompassed linking together usage of other systems between the functional and support groups. The integration included many interfaces to other internal support organizations (e.g. Engineering, Logistics Materials, Union Labor, and Supply Chain) and adjustments to the usage of the IT Platforms and technology usage. Big data and KPIs is a significant part of Corporate Performance measurement and accountability. A revamped set of metrics and process to collect the data and process were a formulated result. From the Scheduler's perspective the software tool was focused around Primavera and iScheduler. Other software involved included: ARCOS Crew Manager, the email system, Lotus Notes Database Applications, CalAmp GIS/GPS Vehicle Tracking, Corporate Performance Metrics (MS Excel), Hyperion Data Mart, Hyperion Data Reporting, AIM Enterprise Asset Management.
