ACADEMIC PROJECT

Title : THE “e” CAR (A SOLAR BASED FOUR WHEELER)

Environment : Chitthanya Institute of Science & Technology

Description:

Nowadays, Diesel & Petrol are the main energy sources for all automobiles. Heavy consumption of these sources leads to several obstacles like pollution, harmful emissions etc. Because of this heavy usage, the fuels may completely disappear.

In spite of all these problems, we should focus on renewable sources of energy like solar power, wind power, tidal power etc., and this idea of “e” CAR (A SOLAR BASED VEHICLE) came from this concept.

Performance of ‘e’ CAR

Dual Model Car, which runs either by solar power or electric charging

Total weight of the vehicle is 110kgs

It can resist a weight of 400-450kgs(with human weight)

For complete charging of batteries it requires 8hrs so that we can run 50kms with a average speed of 35-40kmph

For complete charging of batteries by electric charging it costs about 10rs

ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTS

Secured ‘CERTIFICATE OF EXCELLENCE’ for the project (THE “e” CAR) in my college and immensely appreciated by institutions, industrialists & all Telugu News Channels & Newspapers
