oUtilization Of Short Bars: I have given the proposal to utilize the short bars coming out from the manufacturing process / instead of selling these bars at non-prime rates the idea is to cut the bars at different lengths and sell it to the costumer acquiring for special length bars.

1.Orient Energy System :(Sep 2011 to April 2012)
Working as an ERO (Operations) at the Karkay Rental Power Ship Project. The power Plant is H.F.O based and has net generation capacity of 340 M.W.

Responsibilities include the following:
Responsible of operation to make sure that all equipment are operating normally including synchronizing and load management.
Routine Maintenance and also maintain of all engine auxiliaries & heat exchangers.
Maintenance and operation of GA-375 & other Screw Compressors.
Maintain temperature, pressure & oil level of running equipment& auxiliaries.
Oil & oil filters change, spark plugs regaped& cleaning, change sealing rings.
Inspect clean & replace gas street filter.
Look after cooling system with fresh and Sea water.
Maintain generator log sheets and production reports
2. EMIRATES STEEL INDUSTRIES :(Working as a Quality Control Inspector) (Since July 2013)
Emirates Steel is a leading producer of hot rolled reinforcing bars (rebar). Rebar is a long steel product used exclusively in civil engineering and building projects. The Company's rebar is regarded as a premium quality product due to the Company's sourcing of premium quality iron ore and steel billets. Emirates Steel was awarded in early 2010 certification to manufacture Grade B500B rebar and coil, in addition to Grade 460B.
My activities and responsibilities
My own initiative to carry out in line inspections of raw and finished product,Manage, Direct and Develop Quality Control Staff
Monitor performance of quality control systems and sales order for the production, to ensure effectiveness and efficiency.
Analyze and produced production data sheet such as production yield, efficiency and technical measures.
Carry out in line inspections of the bars at the cold shear and finished bundles after bundling and tagging. Also frequent inspection of the billets on the charging table and record details.
Bar section to be checked at mill start up and after all cobbles and passes changes and to hold bundles with bad section bars for sorting. Any visible surface and rolling defects are informed to mill for corrective action. To ensure that defective and non-confirming material produced is separated and tagged as held for sorting etc.
Monitor bundle weight for all the bundles produced in the shift and take necessary action as required.
Complete and return customer questionnaires,Document, investigate and respond to customer complaints.
Very good command and knowledge of conducting root cause analysis.
Liaison with CP2 for adjustment of temp-core parameters for required properties.
Supervise, host, or conduct internal and external audits. Follow up with action plans, analysis and traceability
Deal with costumer complains & non confirmatory raised from the audits.
Full knowledge of SAP & Level 2, endorsing material properties and status of stock and daily dispatch.
Working with latest industry standards, e.g., ISO, DCL, UK Cares etc.
Development and conducting basic training programs for conducting Quality inspections.
Troubleshooting of equipment failures and quality related issues.
Collect samples as per procedure, Supervise quality control technician(s).
Checking the locations for prime, held material, non-prime material and ensure proper tagging is done.
Maintain and update Daily summary file, finished product chemical analysis file, Billet supplier chemical analysis file, copies of manufacturers test certificates file, Billet inspection reports file.
