Experience as Cardiac Perfusionist:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Operate the heartlung machine.Assist for pump supported CABG's for all patients Provide Intra aortic Balloon pump Support & Make A preparation prior to surgery like setting up the machine,

Coordinate with the anesthetist and the surgeon.Maintain the patient's metabolism during the surgery.

Ensure that the patients condition has stabilized before removing the fixtures and tubes. Monitor the patient constantly. Restore the patient to normal condition at the end of the surgery.

Taking care (service and maintenance) of all equipments use in the OT like heart lung machine, IABP's, ACT machine with coordination of biomedical department.

Responsible for having documentation in HIS of all data of the patients undergoing openheart surgical procedures. To be on call round the clock for all emergency procedures.

Course/ Intrenship Details: Bachelor in Cardiac Perfusion Technology is a 3 Year 6 months(internship) course conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Belgaum.karnataka.

CARDIO-THORACIC SURGERY

Collects the oxygenator,custom pack and other connected items from the OT stores.

Connects the oxygenerator and all connections to the heart lung machine.

Adds dilutents, drugs and the required injections and supplements to the oxygener

Records maintaining.

Assisted the Perfusinist during adult and pediatric cases like ASD, CABG, MVR, AVR,DVR and Emergency cases etc…..

CARDIAC-ANEASTHESIA DEARTMENT

CARDIAC &DIALYSIS DEARTMENT Rotation of duties in Invasive and Noninvasive labs.(ECG,TMT.ECHO,HLTER MNITRING& CATHETERIZATION LAB)..
