Duties and Responsibilities

To manage the entire site operations covering surface preparation and application of coatings for tanks, and painting of internal & external pipe line project, wrapping coating of underground piping, FBE coating of pipe, auto machine blasting of all heavy structure, pipe spool, etc

Understanding the scope of blasting & painting works, ensure the correct painting code, project requirements and safety norms with fully satisfaction of client

To organize the required tools and tackles and maintain the optimum re-order stocks and deploy the required man power as when required to the site.

Responsible for monitoring all parameters during blasting and painting, suggest the painters to maintain the required film thickness as well as the blasting profile and render technical services at sites. To look after the safety as well as the H.S.E & PPE regulations for the employees.

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Surface preparation & painting of all types of materials such as carbon steels (CS), stainless steels(SS), CUNI copper nickel, (GI) galvanized,GRP&GRE, insulated carbon steel pipes

General maintenance of oil and gas heavy industrial gas plant, petro chemical plant, refinery, power plant, desalination plant, petroleum development station, tanks, internal external vessels, gas turbine, waste heat recovery boiler, decks, jackets, LNG gas pipe line with all steel equipment works

To correct and proper mixing ratio of paints with appropriate thinner according to recommended panting specification.

Monitor ambient condition before and during blasting painting works,

Surface Profile checking after the blasting by using testex press-o-film tape, check dust level, salt level (SCM 400)

Applying the paint using recommended method of brush, roller and airless spray as per vendor with project specification

Looking necessary painting system manufacture, type, batch number, colour before painting application and while the same operation

Maintaining air compressor, blasting pot, airless spray M/C (Greco Pump) and all blasting, painting equipments

Experience in different types of insulation such as hot insulation, acoustic insulation, PP insulation,etc
