Senior Project Manager Dallas, Texas
•Senior Project Manager in charge of Development and Construction for Brookwood Village Mall (Birmingham, AL), Burbank Town Center (Burbank, CA – Mall renovation with new retail/multi-family residential component) and Paseo Colorado (Pasadena, CA – Mall Renovation with new retail/condominium and hotel component).
• Senior Project Manager working with Leasing for implementation of TI work on all three properties.

Senior Project Manager San Juan, Puerto Rico
•Senior Project Manager in charge of the mall and parking decks overseeing a staff of 6 project managers and 8 engineers.
• The Mall of San Juan is a state-of-the-art, three-level, enclosed mall developed by The Taubman Company featuring a 138,000-square-foot Nordstrom and a 100,000-square-foot Saks Fifth Avenue. It is the first upscale mall in Puerto Rico and the first and only location on the island for both Nordstrom and Saks. The development also includes a Hotel and Casino.
•The project itself consists of a 661,000 sq. ft. enclosed mall, three parking decks totaling 825,000 sq. ft. with new roads and infrastructure of the surrounding area valued at $405,000,000.
•This mall was the most challenging of my career thus far as we had to recover the time loss by a previous contractor and maintain the original Grand Opening date, putting in place over $260 million of construction in 21 months. This was a tremendous effort by our entire team with the workers on-site reaching over 1000 at the peak of construction.
•Responsibilities also included interior specialties buyout with the design team and consultants. Using past experience we travelled to many quarries all over the world to procure the stone and various materials that have become an expectation on Taubman projects.

•Acting as the Director for the start-up company’s operations and business development. Responsibilities included oversight of all project management and field personnel, office and marketing staff, business development and contract management.
Hermosa Construction Group 2010-2012
Division Manager / Strategic Markets Atlanta, GA
•Acted as the Division Manager for the Atlanta Corporate Office and South East Region including six states. Responsibilities included oversight of all project management and field personnel, office and marketing staff, business development and contract management.
•Developed corporate programs for federal contract pursuits. Acted as liaison between federal clients and the company though the 8(a) and Small Business Programs.
•Implemented and ran a new Division office in Washington, DC (six months) focused on government sector projects. Responsibilities included obtaining all certifications, licenses and affiliations for the new division, successful development of business partners and associations in order to win government projects. Successfully hired all employees and oversaw their daily activities for the projects.
•Successfully established the company in the Mentor-Protégé Programs with SBA and FAA through relationship building skills with large national general contractors.
•Responsible for International Project pursuits using past experience. Successfully winning and managing these projects in various locations (Belize and Honduras).

Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Development 2008-2010
Project Director / Development Director Riyadh, KSA
•Project Director for the developer’s Retail and Commercial projects in the Middle East.
•Director / Core Team Executive for the Master-Planning and Development of the 4,120,000 square meter Qasr Khozam project in Jeddah Saudi Arabia (Largest Urban Re-Development project currently funded and underway in the region at the time). Directed this project from inception though time of contract term.
•Managed the development and construction of the 3.5 million sq. ft. regional Al Qasr Mall in Riyadh, KSA. Reversed project loss and brought the schedule back in-line for a successful grand opening.
•Oversight of the Shams ArRiyadh and Al Qasr Development super-regional mixed-use residential developments with over 4000 multi-family units and villas.
•Duties included overseeing the pre-development, development and construction phases of the projects, process and contract implementation, and management of the general contractors and consultants.
•Provided Business plans and evaluated Feasibility Studies for the projects.
•Produced Development Models and Pro-Forma Budgets (P&L Responsibility).
•The Development and Construction Department had oversight of the QA, Engineering and Procurement Departments. Managed of over 30 direct report employees.
•Optimized purchasing, subcontract and project delivery processes in conjunction with the implementation of the Primavera Project / Contract Management Systems and Oracle.
•Providing effective leadership, staff training and development throughout term to date.

•Senior Manager for development and construction of the super-regional 1,300,000sf “multi-use” lifestyle center Saddle Creek for Poag & McEwen Development in Germantown, TN. The project consisted of retail, office park, hotel, residential (apartments and condominiums) parking decks and restaurants. Tenants include all national “Class-A” tenants such as Anthropologie, Apple, Whole Foods, Polo, Brooks Brothers, Ann Taylor, Cheesecake Factory, Shula’s, etc. $1,600,000.00. Managed this project from the ground-up.
•Senior Manager on the super-regional Promenade Shops at Spectrum for Poag & McEwen Development, a 50 acre “multi-use” lifestyle center including three parking decks, eight retail buildings (residential stacked), hotel, theatre and Office Park. Simultaneously managed The “Renaissance 200” high-rise office tower and deck in Jackson, MS through completion.
•Other projects completed from the ground-up include the super-regional mixed-use (life-style center) Shops at Friendly Center, 2525 Ponce de Leon (high-rise in Miami, FL), AMC Movie Theatres and Overlook Building. Heavily involved with Hoar’s Pro-log Steering Committee, ABC PAC Committee and leadership council.
