I have worked in a Front of House or an Administrative environment all of my working life and as a result I have developed a wide range of skills that would meet, and exceed the expectations for this role.

First Impressions Responsibilities:

Being Front of house, greeting clients with a smile, being friendly, open and welcoming

Offering Clients refreshments, informing the solicitor of their presence, showing clients to the meeting room

Setting up of rooms for meetings, booking rooms and car park spaces, ordering lunches

Dealing with many different issues that may be sensitive or upsetting to the client in an understanding and calm manor

The Out Of Hours Service was in its infancy and I started the job very much in at the deep end with no manager and no idea how the service ran. By asking other managers within the PCT and by taking lots of telephone messages and explaining my situation to people phoning from the PCT, I managed to muddle through until my manager returned a week later.
