Worked in team helping BNP Paribas making insurance claim decision based on 131-D features.

Used Pandas and Seaborn to visualize and analyse the distribution of features to reduce dimensions.

Filled in mission values by KNN, linear regression and EM.

Implemented SVM, XGBoost and Naive Bayes to find the most efficient classification method for this project.

Created web crawler and tokenize the corpus from the Internet, built inverted index for terms.

Utilized PageRank for the collection of web documents, and evaluated the performance by Kendall tau coefficient.

Used BM25, ran queries on the corpus and generated a ranked list of web documents.

Implemented relevance judgement of the list to adjust queries based on language model, made the result match better for costumers’ information needs.

Modified the default round-robin scheduler implemented on xv6, and provided a multi-level feedback queuing policy which can reduce the overall waiting time for processes.

Added system calls to return the physical address associated with a given virtual address which can help users better monitor how memory is allocated inside the system.

Added system calls on xv6 for users to explore or manipulate the page table of the current process.

Implemented support for threads in xv6, wrote a library with a similar interface to pthread, which allows for basic thread creation, thread join, and locks, realized multithreading in xv6.
