EXPERIENCE

August 2013 to Present System One at AREVA Supporting the DC Cook Digital and the TVA Nuclear Fleet projects. P6v7, P6v8, and MSP 10. Develop Proposal schedules as well as detailed Level 3 working schedules. Development and maintenance of EPC schedule. Including but, not limited to updating status, revising logic, developing resource curves, Man-load and provide histograms as needed, developing budget man-hour spreadsheets, for Engineering and Procurement activities. Support Project Manager in planning, tracking, and controlling discipline budgets. Support Project Manager in the development of Work Authorization Requests. Support upper management with reports for deliverables, issues tracking and other on the spot request.

August 2010 to July 2013 System One at AREVA Bellefonte Nuclear Station Project. P6.7 Development and maintenance of EPC schedule. Including but, not limited to updating status, revising logic, developing resource curves, Man-load and provide histograms as needed, developing budget man-hour spreadsheets, for Engineering and Procurement activities. Support Project Manager in planning, tracking, and controlling discipline budgets. Support Project manager in the development of Work Authorization Requests.

March 2008 to August 2010 System One at AREVA Calvert Cliffs 3 Engineering Project P5/6 Development and maintenance of EPC schedule. Including but, not limited to updating status, revising logic, developing resource curves, Man-load and provide histograms as needed, developing budget man-hour spreadsheets, for Engineering and Procurement activities. Support Project Manager in planning, tracking, and controlling discipline budgets.

June 2006 to March 2008 Tennessee Valley Authority. Project Controls Specialist. P3 Develop schedules, logic sequence evolution, resource spreading for outage schedules. One was a steam generator replacement schedule and the other was a typical refueling schedule. Also, during non-outage performed development and maintenance of the 12 week rolling schedule for daily plant operations. This included interface with craft, engineering and plant management.

June 2003 to June 2006 Tennessee Valley Authority. Corporate office for Transmission and Substation Projects. Project Controls Specialist. P3 Develop schedules, logic sequence evolution, estimates, project/cost benefit analysis, change requests, and project approval packages. Review contract costs and reports variances. Assists Project Manager in field support activities during outages and construction. Supports the process of tracking the physical progress of a project. Over twenty active projects ranging from $1M to $30M. Areas of work include transmission line and substation projects, nuclear outage and on-line operations.

November 1999 to April 2001 Dominion Power. Corporate office for Surry and North Anna Nuclear Power Stations. ISI Program Engineer. Revise engineering technical and administrative procedures. Revise ISI Program and corresponding nuclear engineering procedures. Support Configuration Management with revisions to UFSAR. These tasks required the use of 10CFR50, ASME Codes, Plant Technical Specifications, and Virginia Power Engineering Programs. Review Vendor/Manufacturer procedures. Revise drawings to reflect piping and component upgrades, and new ASME classification boundaries. Develop performance data and prepare monthly reports. Also responsible for maintaining the project baseline in MPM through a baseline change control process. Developed a ten year schedule for all required class 1, 2, and 3 component examinations.

February 1998 – July 1999. Rochester Gas and Electric, R.E.Ginna Nuclear Station. ISI Program Engineer. Coordinate the performance of procedure upgrades. Audit of third ten-year interval ISI program. Developed the fourth interval program incorporating the requirements of and/or utilizing the following: 10CFR50, various Editions of ASME Codes, USNRC Regulatory Guide 1.147,1997 ASME code cases, R.E. Ginna Technical Specification and FSAR, USAS B31-1, USNRC Technical Specifications, RG&E Mechanical Engineering Specification, and EPRI Guidelines. Developed a ten year schedule for all required class 1, 2, and 3 component examinations.

July 1997-October 1997 South Texas Project Electric Nuclear Generating Station, Staff Support Engineer. Developed steam generator inspection and analysis guidelines implementing EPRI and NRC guidelines and recommendations. Interface with vendors to assure quality and performance of activities meet set standards. Assure non-compliance conditions with vendor are resolved Coordinate with plant and contract personnel to assure schedule compliance.

February 1997-May 1997 / July 1995-October 1995 Sequoyah Nuclear Plant, Field Engineer - Flow Accelerated Corrosion program. Develop work packages designed to implement actions necessary to prevent future pipe ruptures. Perform field inspections and approve work performed.

February 1991-September 1993 Watts Bar Nuclear Plant, Field Engineer / Supervisor. Quality Records Project. Review, verification, and disposition of records required by NRC prior to the start up of unit 1. These records included but were not limited to; Vendor Manuals, DCNs, FSAR, Work Plans, QA Procedures/Records, Corrective Action and Adverse Condition Reports. Responsible for QC verifications and engineering dispositions of nonconforming items during review. Assured milestones were met and derived plans for unacceptable conditions. Lead Total Quality Management Assessment team that established cost savings in records management processes.

February 1990-February 1991 Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, unit 2, Project Manager (Task), Design activities required by NRC prior to the restart of the unit. Responsible for the schedule, budget, Work Package activities (Design), and closure verification of contracted engineers. Review contract costs and reports variances. Coordinate necessary schedule changes. Coordinate drawing and procedure control between TVA and Contract Engineering firm.

February 1989-1990 TVA Corporate Office, Quality Engineer - Performed quality audits of drawing control and NDE procedures at nuclear sites. Develop procedures and Quality plans in support of NDE activities at nuclear sites. Expedite the approval of NDE programs and procedures at the sites. Review and approve vendor qualifications. Convey the changes in programs and procedures to site personnel. Determine resource needs (inspectors and required craft personnel) for nuclear refueling outages. Reviewed Vendor qualifications to assure TVA, ASNT, and USNRC regulatory guidelines/standards were met. Performed budget analysis for TVA’s nuclear NDE inspection groups.

January 1985-February 1989 Sequoyah and Watts Bar Nuclear Plants, Supervisor - Coordinated the Steam Generator and Balance Of Plant heat exchanger activities. Responsible for the scheduling of TVA and Vendor personnel involved in the Steam Generator activities. Review and develop changes to control the project budget. Responsible for the successful training of technicians, craftsmen, and engineers relating to the data acquisition, data analysis, and disposition of unacceptable conditions. These activities included inspection, tube plugging, roto-peening, and heat treatment and related activities. Developed the schedule logic for all activities related to the steam generator project.

October 1977-December 1984 TVA Nuclear, Fossil and Hydro Plants, Inspector / Supervisor - Perform inspections and coordinate ISI and BOP inspections, and related activities.
