SELECT ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Developed a secure web portal. Managed the development of a secure real-time web portal, for controlled exposure of corporate data warehouse to a network of global commerce partners. The portal is used as the backend for global buyback operations and as a data repository for an automated auctions platform.
Directed a corporate turnaround. Identified a new mission, designed a new strategy, redefined the technology, replaced 70% of employees, built a new corporate culture and achieved profitability.
Orchestrated a major website migration. Planned and executed a successful post-acquisition technology transfer and web asset migration to a new team and a new technology platform. The migration of an active website, with a community of several hundreds of thousands of users, was completed ahead of schedule and is now a successfully growing operation.
Built an award-winning team. Built and led a software development team that became the world’s 52-nd fastest growing Microsoft Independent Software Vendor and received multiple awards such as “Best Integration of the Year” from Great Plains Software and “Solution of the Year” from ACCPAC International.
Integrated ERP and MIS with WMS. Designed a reliable data flow architecture and established protocols to ensure data integrity. Established a controlled environment for automated bi-directional data feeds between ERP and WMS. Created integrated management portals and a new global reporting platform.
Developed an innovative employee profit sharing plan. Created an employee profit sharing plan that allocated a predetermined amount amongst all employees according to role, length of service and management discretion. The plan also includes profit sharing for employees that leave after being with the company for more than five years. Length of the participation period depends on number of years with the company, how well the employee transferred his knowledge and the residual effect of the separation on corporate culture. The longer employees stay and the more appropriately they leave, the longer they can enjoy the fruits of their labor after they move on, provided they were not let go for cause.
Initiated and led a global change in corporate culture. Redesigned the organizational structure, hired a new CEO, updated reporting procedures and changed the attitude towards quality resulting in more than doubling of profit from $30 to $70 million within two years.
