As Building Technician, responsible for electrical, plumbing, HVAC systems maintenance, parts ordering and all phases of building maintenance. This involves three buildings housing the newspaper, doctors’ offices, and other companies/businesses (e.g. four radio stations).
Acts as a Team Leader for the less experienced employees.
Performs the daily maintenance that is needed for the newspaper’s delivery vans and trucks.

Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all existing housing units that comprise the Fairfax Lifetime Retirement Community.

Responsible for the transportation, delivery, and installation/removal of household appliances requiring a working knowledge and understanding of electrical wiring, plumbing, and gas connection systems. Additionally have acquired certification as a Type I Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning (HVAC) Mechanic.
Responsible for the planning of delivery routes to maximize time and be most economical Also required to handle and process invoices and delivery documentation.
Routinely required to revisit locations where appliances had been delivered to trouble shoot and remedy problems that had occurred due to improper use by the new owners.
