Project manager working within IT Project Management Office for global software company. Managed 3-4 projects simultaneously with average durations of 6 – 9 months. This allowed for exposure to a vast array of internal systems. Managed virtual teams across all time zones which required a significant amount of sub team coordination to ensure task completion. Involved in multiple pilots for new application development delivery processes for the PMO.

Brought into Infor to manage development of new customer support applications (Infor Xtreme) for the 77,000 active customers. Decommissioning of the myLawson.com customer support portal serving 25,000 customers.

Moved into PMO office to begin managing small and mid-term projects with a focus on internal systems.

Implementation with three ERP conversions (GEAC, Lawson and JD Edwards) within North American operations involving 1,000 building material sites/units with annual revenues of $3 billion dollars. Working with team of 3 other regional project managers to ensure standard process across 47 highly decentralized business units. Managed IT integration task forces for 7 acquisitions in US Southeast and Canada adding over 75 new plants. Joined new business process improvement team using lean six sigma methodologies to drive down inefficiencies in the revenue cycle (ticketing and billing errors).

ERP projects involved all aspects of implementation: due diligence, requirements, gap analysis, project planning/scheduling, business process development, quality assurance/end user testing, piloting and post implementation support. Included integration of front end systems for aggregate, concrete and asphalt plants.

Managed staff of 15-20 for Eastern US teams involved in three phases: quote to cash, procure to pay and GL which lasted over a 3 year timeframe. The teams traveled extensively within US and Canada.

After JDE implementation, joined new business process team trained on lean Six Sigma to eliminate a 25% billing error rate for the 6 million tickets generated annually through front end systems.

Worked with newly created Financial Service Center in Toronto on process improvement projects after consolidating Lawson financials from 4 decentralized systems to a single instance. Eliminated annual loss of $4 million in uncollected COD sales by moving to revenue recognition system instead of A/R’s for COD sales.

Managed NA Equipment Asset Management (Maximo) implementation for 35 quarry operations to reduce $5 million in annual repairs/maintenance for mobile and fixed plant assets.

Responsible for accounting, payroll and IT functions for process flow, foodservice manufacturing plant in a lean decentralized organizational structure. Annual sales approaching $50 million with gross margins increasing 3 percent each year due to elimination of waste/yield and inefficiencies.

Managed annual budget development process for sales and operations, assisted in preparation of month end close with focus on analysis/identification of standard cost variances.
