Overall objective of the project is to enable RIM to integrate and consolidate multiple demand streams to generate a single demand signal and a more accurate forecast.

To support the planning processes and plan reporting, standalone BI system would be used as a data repository. All the master data, historical orders are extracted from ECC and stored in the standalone BI system. BI system would support the SCM planning by providing required master data and historical information. Master and Historical data from standalone BI system will be push to BI component of SCM DP, which in turn will be extracted in planning area (LiveCache) for forecasting.
