This melting practice was using four coreless melting furnaces, four channel (holding) furnaces and four 50 ton auto pouring furnaces.

Identify and address melting concerns for gray and ductile iron melting/pouring processes

Optimize operations by strategically leveraging resources, available charging materials, and manpower to maximize daily output.

Collaborate with other departmental supervisors and managers to mitigate constraints such as iron, core, and manpower.

Apply six sigma principals to address production delays and leverage continuous improvement processes to investigate pouring concerns.
