To whom it may concern,

I am very interested in the role as a Project Coordinator with Goodlife. As a previous Account Coordinator in the marketing industry, I know I have an abundance of transferable skills that would make me successful in this role. As a Goodlife member myself, I have a strong understanding of the Goodlife experience, and would like to be part of making this company better. My work experience has been a combination of marketing and event coordination. My educational background in business, finance, and marketing provides me with a strong foundation to learn and understand the role quickly.

I graduated from the University of Western Ontario with an Honors degree in Business Management, specializing in Marketing. What makes my degree unique, and relevant to this position, is that I completed three years of finance before switching into Marketing in my last year. My change in direction was inspired by my participation in a nationwide marketing competition. During this competition I had the opportunity to lead our team of three in the creative development and execution of marketing campaigns across campus. This was one of my first experiences in Project Coordination, where I realized I have a natural ability for leading and developing ideas.

More recently, as an Account Coordinator with Behaviour, I was responsible for coordinating high priority events for TELUS. The events I coordinated on were always high profile, where the CEO of TELUS was often present to witness the event. In this role, I utilized my creativity and organization to develop ideas and train staff to ensure successful event execution every time. Most notably, I took full lead on a movie premier concept with events in both Vancouver and Calgary. I worked with a $70,000 budget as the lead contact between the TELUS clients to create two events that received praise from both of the CEO’s from my company (Behaviour), and of TELUS.

I’m a natural leader, and I have the focus and understanding to thrive in a Project Coordination role. My success in my previous role as Account Coordinator position me well to excel in this role with Goodlife.
