Responsible for all Human Resources functions, including employee relations, performance management and coaching; human resource policy development and implementation; human resource consultation; worker’s compensation, recruitment and retention; employee recognition; HR Technologies; compensation systems and employee benefits.
•Implemented the company’s first applicant tracking system that enabled a new generation of employees to easily find and apply for Peterson Farms opportunities on-lines.
•Reviewed and/or created many corporate policies that were outdated or non-existent and communicated them to the employees, which included the creating of a web resource where the policies can be accessed at any time.
•Designed, developed and delivered management and supervisory training including effective hiring practices, employee coaching and progressive discipline.
