Technologies

●Experience developing web-based applications and websites using JavaScript/jQuery, AngularJS (and other JS frameworks), HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap in multiple Agile Scrum, TDD environments.

●Server side software: PHP, Node.js (5.1.1), Java, C++, and C#/ASP.NET.

●Databases: SQL-based, MongoDB, and Oracle DBMS.

-Develop templates in Adobe AEM (CMS) using JavaScript/jQuery, HTML5, CSS3, and optimize code uaing mobile/responsive using Bootstrap.

-Create resorces with the Adobe suite; mainly Photoshop and Illustrator.

- Translated wireframes & specifications into functioning websites utilizing Drupal and Sitecore CMS platforms.

- Executed test plans/matrices covering numerous Operating Systems/OS versions, browsers and browser versions, and devices across development environments, until approved and deployed to stage.

- Analyzed and referenced existing documentation to ensure that test coverage was complete and thorough.

Sony Electronics, July 2015-January 2015: Software Developer/QA Engineer. Contracted via Yoh, Inc. San Diego, CA.

- Constructed Selenium test cases from scratch for the Playstation Vue streaming video application. We were essentially ensuring that Android devices like Amazon Fire TV from the very inception of the project would be compatible on these devices. .

- Developed the first automated tests, maintained/updated/fixed, and continued to expand the coverage for a hybrid web app + Android APK streaming video application (Selenium/Java/JUnit). Estimated lines of code written per day: +/-500.

- Architected a Continuous Integration solution using Jenkins, plugins, and test files written in QUnit the project’s GitHub repository to display

- Created QUnit test cases and monitored results before and after versions were released; communicated percentage of passing & failing tests to developers and Product Manager.

- Managed the setup of internal (QA) GitHub repositories and pushed latest WebDriver 2 automation files to GitHub repositories on a daily basis. Estimated files created and/or updated and pushed per day: 5-10.

Teledyne RD Instruments, March 2015-July 2015: Software Engineer (Intern): Poway, CA. Mainly devoted to the launch of the “ReadyV” web application for use with the ADCP (acoustic doppler current profilers).

- Contributed to the ReadyV web app comprised of KnockoutJS + HTML5/CSS3, which controls the measurement settings of the SentinelV ADCP marine profiling device. (Instructions to view): 1. Click on the training module 2. Click on “Software” (this is the ReadyV app).

- My team was credited with providing the least “buggy” software ever (internally) which was used for demo at a large, international, ocean-engineering convention.

- Verified and validated JSON data integrity and structures, firmware, behavior and solidity of handling extremely large data files, etc.

TVPage, Inc, August 2013-March 2015: SaaS Front-End Developer and QA/Test Manager. San Diego, CA. A startup company providing a video-based SaaS sales, retention, and engagement product to eCommerce organizations such as Tilly’s, Hot Topic, TTI Floor Care, and Charbroil.

- Developed this TV site, for use in a client demo with a very large sports apparel brand.

-Identified and fixed software bugs (jQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3).

-Implemented CSS designs for embedded TVPage players (iframe embeds added to a website’s existing HTML structure) to match the look and feel of client websites.

-Unit-tested files with Jasmine, and Grunt as a task runner.

- Architected Selenium tests in PHP for client-facing SAAS web application and video player. These automated test scripts covered 95% of all template actionability on desktop.

- Created QA processes and workflow, as well as guidelines for issues being submitted, and devices/operating systems/browser combinations to be tested on.
