Wholesale distribution facility for roofing and roofing related supplies. Responsible for 8 employees in a fast-paced environment with $6 million in annual revenue. Responsibilities include P&L, budgeting, expense control, asset management, sales management and safety and inventory control. Reduced inventories from $2.8 million to currently running $750,000 with correct mix for the Charlotte market. Secured a Tier 2 commercial line for the branch which enhanced revenue by $700,000. Generated $1.1 million in operating income and changed the mix of customers from high volume/low margin accounts to smaller high margin accounts. Accomplished all of this in a flat, post-storm environment.
