Title: Automation and Smart Security System in An Urban Concept Super Mileage Car

(Participated in SHELL ECO-MARATHON ASIA 2015 held in MANILA, PHILIPPINES)

This project ranked among the top 7 in Asian continent.

The Eco-Marathon is sponsored by Shell, in which participants build special vehicles to achieve the highest possible fuel efficiency.

As the electrical wing of the team, devised the electrical circuitry of the car.

Developed some smart security systems such as dead man’s switch, smart seat belt and car collision detector and locator and automation tools such as automatic head lights and wipers.

Title: Mobile Robotics Using DTMF

The aim of this project was to control robots using mobile phones which find its application in militia and medicines. This project used mobile communication and microcontroller programming. Used dedicated modem/mobile at the receiver module and transmitted commands using DTMF (Dual Tone Multiple Frequency) tones. Conventionally, Wireless-controlled robots use radio control, which have the drawbacks of limited working range, limited frequency range and the limited control. Use of DTMF for robotic control can overcome these limitations.

Title: Smart Home Automation and Security System Using MSP430, Raspberry Pi & IoT”

The home automation system consisted of functions such as remote locking features and various sensors to alarm the owners of various hazards such as fire, water leakage and gas leakage. Adding to this, there was a motion sensor and a Raspberry Pi camera to alert the owners of an intrusion by sending a mail and a picture of the intruder to the owner. These automations and security systems were backed up by cloud connectivity, peripheral surveillance and a 24*7 solar and battery backup.
