Currently involved in high pressure equipment design, primarily diaphragm gas
compressors, pressurized reactors and complete system packages. Work closely with
Chief Engineer in developing several product lines of standard reactors and mixers. Also
responsible for designs and calculations for ASME code certification.
Handle complete job package from mechanical parts assemblies and details; calculations;
system layout, process and instrumentation diagrams; piping and electrical schematics;
structural details; to a complete bill of materials. Other job responsibilities include:
Lending technical assistance to Sales and Production departments.
Interfacing with manufacturing to provide solutions to productions and assembly
problems.
Disposition non-conformities of in-house manufactured and outside vendor supplied

Primarily involved in costing of pump systems for sales department quotations. Established a
standard component and instrumentation cost selection book for PPIs compressor system line.

Worked with Project Engineer on product improvements and design
changes for the metering pump line. Responsibilities also included the layout and design of
chemical feed systems; outline drawings, process schematics, and all related structural and
fabrication details.

Design Draftsman
Responsibilities included the design of automated heat treat lines for this salt bath furnace
manufacturer. Also involved in creating installation drawings for the customer or
installation contractor.
1976 to 1978 PENNWALT CORPORATION, Sharples Division, Warminister, PA
Draftsman
Responsibilities include working along with Product Designs of this centrifuge machine
manufacturer in creating fabrication, weldment, and assembly drawings for the frames
and support portion of a proposed centrifuge machine. Transferred Designers ideas and
sketches into layouts and created finished drawings along with bill of materials. Also
involved in layout and assembly of internal mechanical parts for the machines.
1973 to 1976 MILTON ROY COMPANY, Ivyland, PA
Draftsman
Creating layout and complete drawing package per customer specifications for chemical
systems design. Also assisted Product Engineering in modifying existing products
including development of an air operated pump as well as developing a new form of
testing new and existing product lines. Prepared layouts as final detail drawings.
