Monitored the workload and age lists to ensure that all cases were completed timely
according to CMS guidelines;
Conducted training of both new and existing staff members on subjects identified as weak
areas as a result of audit results or feedback from other operational areas.
Prepared Medicare Secondary Payer Month End Cost/Saving Reports for states of

June 17, 1997 - May 27, 2007 (Medicare Secondary Payer Financial Analyst) –
Duties included Receipting and posting account receivables and cash receivables.
Maintained the accurate timely and processing of overpayments requests,
voluntary refunds; completed necessary adjustments required for the disposition of
specific financial request; generated letters of a technical and complex nature involving
requests for refunds as well as letters detailing errors made at the time of the original
processing of the claim which resulted in an overpayment.
Also was responsible for determining Medicare’s liability as a primary or secondary payer;
timely updating of CWF MSP records; and accurate timely submission of Electronic
Correspondence Referral System (ECRS) transactions. Monitor status of pending liability.
