As an Assistant Manager for projects, my scope of work was classified under design engineering, installation, commissioning followed by managing projects responsible to ensure secure & successful completion of project deliverables. The major tasks of my working were as follows:

Design Engineering

Detailed survey which includes calculation of number of poles & Transformer Capacity acc. to BPL in a particular village and then preparing detailed BOQ (Bill of quantities) of the same.

Preparing electrical network of 11/33 KV line & LT line.

Reviewing the engineering / design changes and resolving execution and quality related problems associated with design.

Conducting Site Acceptance Test (SAT) of materials like Transformers, Electric poles, Steel Structure material etc to ensure operational effectiveness of Site & utilities and preparing the report accordingly.

Installation & Commissioning

Installation and commissioning of the heavy equipment like Transformers, Poles, Conductors, Energy Meter.

Involved in installation, system layouts and checks of main and auxiliary machinery and preparing documents for the same effectively.

Project Management

Supervising project related tasks including planning, control & troubleshooting for achieving the planned periodic schedules and process control; preparing operational budgets and ensuring adherence to the same.

Constantly conducting meeting with the clients for completion of project on time and with contractors to overcome the difficulties faced during execution of work.

Monitoring the activity at sites and review of project schedule, ensuring cost control within budget, planning for man & material requirements, etc.

Maintaining and ensuring stringent adherence to quality and safety standards, norms & practices, identifying gaps and taking corrective action.

Liaison with government agencies like state electricity board, electrical inspector etc for the inspection & charging of Villages

Preparing the Billing breakup of executed work.
