A Brief Background of Occupational Science

Occupational Scientists are those who study Occupational Therapy but do not perform the hands-on work. OS majors take many courses in psychology, social work and my third chosen area was to study the geriatric/aging population. My degree is not simply a Bachelor's Degree in OS, but it is a Bachelor's Degree in OS with the primary focus on the process of aging and how to adapt to body changing events while living a comfortable and the most independent way possible. I have also studied ergonomics, medical supplies and medical accommodations.
