Hilton Lake Las Vegas - Las Vegas, NV - March 2015 to May 2016 Responsibilities

I maintain the upkeep and beautification of the landscape in the Florentine Garden, Tuscany Courtyard and Monte Lago Casino.

This is all hand sculpted using loppers, shears and hand clippers. I also spray herbicides and pestisides that are kept eco friendly as to not harm the animals. I also feed the shrubs, trees and roses with a liquid or pellet fertilizer as to take all precautions to not harm the animals.

Accomplishments

The greatest satisfaction is hearing the clients, customers and the general public as well as Hilton co-workers and staff give me compliments of how beautiful the Florentine Garden has become. My personal satisfaction is seeing the wild rabbits, roadrunners, hummingbirds come into the garden and feel at home.

But i was hired on as a P/T Landscaper and my time there is about to come to an end. Skills Used

I used my personal hand tools, loppers, shears, hand pruners and hand saw and with patience and time, i took what was abused by gas hedgers and chainsaws and gave it T.L.C. and as the months passed this Florentine Garden came to life.

Roofer/Waterproofer

Technicoat Companies - Las Vegas, NV - August 2014 to October 2014 Responsibilities

I was responsible for keeping track of the materials being used on a daily bases and how much was needed to be ordered at the end of the week. Also was responsible for unloading/loading the materials to be taken to their destination on the jobsite. Throughout the work shift I would check on the crew members and distribute materials to them as needed. At the beginning and end of each shift I would make sure the material was set up for the next work day. I was responsible for all trash to be picked up throughout my shift and to remove it to it's designated trash sites. I was working at The Quads (old Imperial Palace) inside the towers/rooms that were being renovated. I am seeking employment that will keep me on steady. Accomplishments

I kept the headache of what material was being used on a daily bases and what needed to be ordered off my foreman. My foreman could rely on me to get the materials being delivered to the jobsite to the designated areas needed to complete the job tasks. The foremans on that job site relied on me to keep all trash from the areas we were working in to be picked up and thrown out (this was a very important part of the job). I did exactly what was expected of me to stay on top of that job task. I was their grunt and they all could count on me to be there and help make the job a little less stressful. I enjoyed my time there. Skills Used

I had the common sense to make my job productive each and every day I was there. Roofer/Waterproofer
