General Manager

Corporate staffing over 88,000 employees globally. Revenues in excess of $15 B worldwide.

Start Up facility in 2010, 75,000 square foot warehouse facility, dedicated to aerospace JIT warehousing and flight line production delivery. Implementateed all plant layouts, equipment installations, new hiring, training, and go live delivery in three months.

100% rating on all customer key performance indicators – on-time delivery, inventory accuracy, receipt to put away, 2010-2014.

Relocated and managed aerospace warehouse facility operations for CCAD in Corpus Christi in 2015.

Vice President of Operations

Manufacturing Division Head – oversaw all industry departments including: Plant Management, Warehouse/Logistics, Production Planning, Product Development, Engineering, Contracting, Quality Assurance, Maintenance and Building Janitorial.

Lead the charge to implement ISO 9001:2000 certification, Aerospace certification in 2007.

Identified and developed Boeing Aerospace opportunity and received $10M contract over 10 years. Received Boeing Silver award for service in the first year in 2008 and was awarded Gold rating in March 2009.

US Military Contractor - Implemented production lines for the US Army Advanced Combat Uniform, US Military Advance Combat Helmet retention system, US Navy Fleece Parka Liner, and the US Army Advance Combat Shirt. Implemented Project Management techniques to cost and plan all activities, utilized Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to implement efficient production models, work cells and single piece flows to meet customer requirements.

Grew manufacturing revenues from of existing and new product lines from $10 M annually from 2002 to $24 M in 2009.

2001–2002 TREND TECHNOLOGIES Round Rock, TX

Plant Manager Assembly

Managed Assembly/Warehouse 150,000 square foot facility. Managed 7 direct reports, salary employees and 469 indirect hourly employees.

Facilitated over seven separate computer assembly lines, 24 hours a day, five days a week operation. Production output of computer electrical enclosures exceeded 208,000 units monthly.

Implemented Lean Manufacturing/Kaizan approach to computer chassis assembly line. Reduced head count from 45 operators to 33 and increased output 25%. Plant closed October 2002.

2000–2001 AMNITEK LIMITED San Antonio, TX

Plant Manager

Start up facility 100,000 square foot building, stamping machines - 110 tons to 600 tons, molding machines from 390 tons to 950 tons.

Assigned 5 direct report Supervisors in injection molding, metal stamping, assembly, maintenance, and warehouse.

Injection shop - operated at 99.975% internal quality acceptance or 250 DPPM.

Prepared annual budgets, customer quotations, capacity reports, machine utilization, and efficiency reports, down time/yield ratios for executive management review. Plant closed July 2001.

1990–2000 BERMO Inc. Circle Pines, MN

Production Molding/Stamping Supervisor

Supervised Metal Stamping and Molding Shops. Maintained production schedule of 20 injection molding machines and 35 metal stamping work centers.

Supervised General Assembly, Tool and Die Room, Maintenance, Shipping/Receiving, and Short Run Prototype department for the night shift - 120 hourly employees.

Duties include hiring, annual appraisals, plant safety training, ISO training, and employee counseling/terminations.

Evaluation of the profitability of manufacturing activities, research past performance, conducted live time studies - updated jobs cards, quotes and bills of materials.

Re-Engineering of current processes – making jobs more efficient through fixtures, technology, equipment and process changes.
