Primary focus was engineering solutions for high speed file transport, video transcode, video streaming and publishing across television and cable properties. Was also responsible for budgeting, capital planning, and personnel management.

Monitored, corrected and improved the quality of the video/audio signal for TWC.

Responsibilities further included resolution of broadcast systems problems,

Additional responsibilities included project conception, design, and implementation of new technologies and their integration within the Weather Channel Infrastructure. Examples include the installation of 360 systems video servers to replace existing graphics systems as well as the new Ross Down Stream Keyer Integration with existing TWC equipment for both Weather Channel Production Rooms.

This responsibility required an in depth knowledge of AutoCAD and Visio applications for the purposes of designing newly proposed broadcast engineering projects before implementation.

Required ability to present these ideas verbally as well as on system drawings before a committee of senior Broadcast Engineering staff.
