The Central New York Care Collaborative (CNYCC) is a partnership that connects more than 1,400 healthcare and community based service providers in six counties across Central New York -- Cayuga, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga and Oswego. The primary goal of the collaborative is to serve the population by improving the coordination of healthcare services, enhancing the quality of performance outcomes, and creating an overall better system of care for patients via administration of DSRIP (Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment Program)

~Oversite of PPS wide organization projects with a reimbursement value from NYS of $58M

~Provide consultation to acute care, ambulatory care, outpatient, behavioral health, and community based organization partners on workforce issues including compensation and benefits, managing high vacancies, talent delivery, and filling knowledge gaps through formal training

St. Joseph’s Health is a regional hub of the Trinity Health System, a $14B operation providing acute and ambulatory services to millions. St. Joseph’s Health is a system of 27 locations and an employee census just under 5000. St. Joseph’s Health is Magnet Certified, The Center of Excellence in Orthopedic and Cardiac Care, and recognized by U.S. News and World Report as a “Best Regional Hospital.” I was asked by my former client leader at Bristol-Myers Squibb who became the VP of HR at St. Joseph’s to redesign all elements of Talent Acquisition and Retention from Recruitment Marketing,,ATS Functionality, Hiring Process Workflows, Selection criteria, and On-boarding/ Orientation.

~ Inherited a department with 240 open positions, average submissions to hire of 20 to 1, 4 direct reports and 5 indirect reports all working independently, and a time to fill of 72 days. I reduced that to 1 hire per 5 submissions, time to fill of 48 days, and 23 open positions on the board in the first 6 months.

~ Established a streamlined service delivery model and worked with HRBP’s to educate and gain buy-in from Clinical, Mid-level, and Non-Clinical hiring Executives, Directors, and Managers.

~Generated 12000 unique candidates across all skill sets and re-engaged 7000 viable candidates in high value areas that had been ignored previously. The practices that I’ve put in place should enable St. Joseph’s Health to reach its goals for years to come.

Aspen Dental provides shared services to the largest branded managed care network of dental practices in the United States. The Practice Support Center, or Head Quarters, is based in Syracuse NY and currently supports over 450 practices and adds a new one every week. Annual revenues exceed $1B with over 4.5M unique patient visits annually. My role is to find and secure Leadership for this business.

~ Recruited to lead all Talent Acquisition for Leadership positions for the corporate headquarters

~ 345 filled positions in 3 years from national searches with a 1:3 interview to start ratio

~ Conduct ‘fair market’ analysis for all requirements to align compensation with national trends

~ Over 93% of Managerial talent retained from my start and 99% from 24 months to the end of 2014

Syracuse NY Account Executive to Bristol-Myers Squibb

Master Service Provider for Supplemental Staff Nationally

Aerotek is part of the privately owned Allegis Group, the largest staffing services provider in North America, and was the Master Service Provider for scientific, engineering, accounting, administrative and operations staffing to Bristol-Myers Squibb, a Fortune 100 pharmaceutical company.

My responsibilities included acting as the Human Resources Leader and Relationship Manager over a contractor population of 1800. This included oversight for employee relations, immigration, HRIS management, and managing the contractor fulfillment process as executed by 14 Senior Recruiters to sites located throughout New Jersey, New York, Massachusetts, Indiana, Michigan, and Puerto Rico. These sites were focused on the development and production of new pharmaceutical products derived from biologic sources and bulk compounds as well as developing infant nutritional products for global distribution.

~ Oversight for all operations of a $40 million per annum staffing account

~ Implemented hiring process, HRIS, performance management, and contractor to hire succession plan

~ Reduced cycle time from predecessor of 46 days to 19 days within 24 months, saved client roughly $5M per year in reduced external agency spend

~ Requested by the client as a subject matter expert to join the steering committee for the site selection of a 700+FTE Large Scale Cell Culture facility. Final recommendations were submitted to the CEO
