currrent skills and progress in a career as a welder

Qualificatio

-I just finished my Welder Foundation Coarse at Okanagan college on july 15/2016,

- I have very good skills welding with SMAW in the 1F, 2F, 3F, and 4F positions, i

have good experiance working with different rod types such as 6010, 7018, and 7024

electrodes

- Iam skilled in semi-automatic and automatic welding such as GMAW, GMAW-P,

MCAW, and self and duel sheilded FCAW, in all positions

- I can make clean accurate cuts with an oxy-acytelyne torch,

- Iam capable of gouging using the process of CAC-A, as well as tourch gouging

- I have experiance running a shear, ironworker, brake, bandsaws, and MagDrills.

Iam familiar with reading welding blueprints

I am a certified level 2 Rig Technician

I hold valid certificates for H2S, WHIMIS, Occupational first aid, Confined space

entry, rigging and hoisting, First line blowout prevention, Fall Arrest, High angle

rescue, Frontend loader ticket, and forklifts. I have good mechanical abilities i can

service and maintain mechanical equipment as well as troubleshoot problems with

equipment as well as make the necessary repairs,

I am an extremely hard worker, I love working outdoors regardless of weather

conditions. I work well on my own but have the skills to organize, lead, and supervise

a crew of workers. I am also use to working long days (12-16 hours) Im always open

to learning new skills and i learn fast.
