1.CLINICAL AND SURGICAL WORK:
A skilled eye surgeon trained in volume cataract surgery since 2004 who practices comprehensive ophthalmology.
Phacoemulsification & SICS with IOL implantation, Glaucoma Surgeries, Squint surgery, Pterygium with Auto graft, Lacrimal surgeries.
Lasers for glaucoma and YAG Laser.
Well versed with Corneal Topography, Corneal Pachymetry, Digital Fundus Imaging, Automated Perimetry, Optical Coherence Tomography ( Stratus OCT), Orthoptics, and Lasers.
Participates in Outreach Camps under National Program for Control of Blindness.
2.TEACHING RESPONSIBILITY:

About 16-18 hours per week of teaching & related activities.

3.ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBITY:
1.Ophthalmology Department:
As administrative head have to manage entire functioning of the ophthalmology department including outpatient department, wards, clinical teaching, duty rosters for all personnel, procurement of equipments, consumables.
Attending meetings at hospital and institute level.
Organize and conduct CMEs and faculty development workshops.
Responsible for curriculum development and teaching schedule for ophthalmology department.
Conducting various internal and university examinations for medical students.
Preparations of the department for MCI inspections and accreditations by various accreditation bodies.
2.As member of curriculum committee:
Involved in developing and revising curriculum for all the departments.
3.As coordinator MEU:
Responsible for planning, organizing and conducting various faculty development
programs like basic and advanced courses in medical education, workshops, CMEs, guest lectures.
Responsible for planning, organizing and conducting Foundation course for medical students.
Responsible for planning, organizing and conducting attitude, communication skills,
Professionalism training for medical students.
