Present - November 2013

CNC Team Leader at TelAir US Cargo Systems, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Primarily responsible for the timely fabrication of aircraft parts and mechanisms for the military and civilian cargo airplane industry. Overseeing the work of coworkers, coordinating manpower on machines, and helping to train new associates in machine work. Maintaining ongoing improvements of current systems for the expeditious fabrication of parts, such as monitoring machine program status and keeping them current, ensuring that fixtures are cataloged and up to date, ready for immediate utilization, and tooling is kept stocked to prevent any work stoppages. Utilizing Master Cam software, Haas CNC mills and lathes, Fadal mills, and Stallion mills. Point of contact for emergency response; fire, chemical spills, etc. Volunteer “first responder”. Single handedly developed and implemented a “Company Surplus Sale” where redundant and unused company equipment is put up for auction to be sold to employees. Primary responsibilities are to set up, program, and run 4 axis Haas CNC Machining Centers to produce parts and mechanisms for the Nuclear Industry, checking dimensional accuracy of my work, and others.
